“Inspiration: Where do we find it? How does it influence our mosaic work?”
Join us for a virtual roundtable discussion for our November AMG Meeting, via Zoom.
Many of us are inspired and influenced by other artists. Perhaps you’ve taken a workshop, admired their work online, or in a museum or exhibit. Nearly every working artist has been influenced in some way by the work of others.
We invite you to send an image of the art and then image(s) of your own work showing the influence or connection.
*** send images to Diannes@mac.com by Saturday, Nov 9. ***
During the meeting we will present a slideshow of the images, hear your perspective, and then discuss them as a group. It should be a lively discussion!
As an example, Dianne will talk about artist Christi Belcourt, and the influence her interpretations of traditional woodland floral beadwork have had on Dianne’s work.
