"Mosaic Magic"

Greetings all!

• The first step in the submission process is to request the Mosaic Magic Submission pdf document at Request for PDF.
• This is a fine art mosaic exhibition. The primary medium should be mosaic. AMG encourages all members from beginners to professionals to participate.
• All work on exhibit must be available for sale.
• We strongly encourage you to submit new creative work that has not been in an AMG show.
• All submissions must be your own design with the exception of advanced workshop pieces.
  
• Work previously exhibited at The Hive is not eligible. Work that has been in other venues is fine.
• 3D art is eligible as long as it fits on the pedestals. The Hive only has a limited number of pedestals available.
• Collaborative work may be submitted by the lead artist who must be an AMG member.
  
• There is not a size limitation as long as the mosaic can be safely hung by a single wire attached between two D hooks. The hanging wire with picture hanger must not show once the work is hung on the wall.
• A multi-piece work (i.e. diptych, triptych, polyptych) that is sold as a unit is considered one entry.
  
• Mosaics started in a technique focused workshop are eligible for the show. (We may reserve a section of The Hive gallery specifically for these works like we recently did at The Mosaic Workshop for the Austin Studio Tour. It will depend on how many are submitted. This can be a great learning experience for visitors to the gallery.)
• The title and artist's name must be permanently written on the back of the 2D artwork or underneath for 3D artwork.
• The Hive is responsible for sales (70% artist / 30% artist donation to BCAF).
