"Mary Carmen’s presentation this coming Monday at 7pm. Free event but we’ll be taking donations towards her travel and project expenses.
“Zacatlán de las Manzanas is one of Mexico’s “Pueblo Mágico” destinations for its natural beauty and also for all the incredible mosaic murals. Mary Carmen Olvera Trejo is the catalyst behind the Vitromurales project started ten years ago with a collaboration with renowned mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar.
Since then Mary Carmen and her small dedicated team of artists have created more than 3,000 square meters of immaculate mosaic murals!
She and her son Oswaldo are visiting Austin this week to share their work and also to plan for a community mural here in November. Please join us in welcoming them this Monday evening Sept 29th at 7pm at The Mosaic Workshop!
Free event but we are taking donations for their travel expenses and for the mural in November.
