Let's go on an AMG Mosaic  Self Guided Walking Tour of Smithville, Texas!

Date:  Saturday, May 30

Where: Starting with Comfort Cafe

One of my favorite places to visit, gawk at mosaics, and eat yummy food is Smithville, Texas…where mosaic artists extraordinaire, Stefanie Distefano and Stephanie Shroyer have created many wonderful mosaic installations.  Probably the easiest way to do this is to gather folks you know or would like to get to know better and carpool to The Comfort Cafe for breakfast and meet others in the guild for a scrumptious breakfast and socializing. You will be given a list of mosaics in the town to visit and enjoy. We will probably walk a couple of blocks to Mosaic (a delightful shop) on Main Street and then journey on to the other places on the list at your own pace. If you drag this out enough and are hungry again, you can wrap up the day at Honey’s Pizza on 2nd St with The Queen overlooking your dining. 

Please RSVP (by registering) so we know how many to expect. Please leave Austin by 8:30 AM (I know! early, right????) so we can get to The Comfort Cafe by 9:30 am and beat the rush.
